Advanced Climbing Clinic

Challenge yourself with the single line rappel technique on the outdoor rappelling tower in M.C. Anderson Park.

Basic Sea Kayaking Clinic

Try kayaking in a safe environment! Understand how to properly enter and exit your kayak, perform basic paddle strokes and rescues and learn more about tides and other nautical terms.

Advanced Kayaking Clinic

Take on greater waters after the Basic Sea Kayaking Clinic. Refine your paddling skills, try out kayak rolling and learn more about nautical travel and environmental conditions.

Whitewater Kayak Roll Clinic

Learn essential skills for whitewater kayaking. Attempt rolls, rescues and basic paddle strokes and unlock rental access for whitewater kayaks from The Southern Adventures Center.

Basic Belay Clinic

Become a certified climber so you can belay at the RAC’s Climbing Wall! Learn the “Pull Brake Under Slide” (PBUS) method of taking rope, tie in using a figure eight follow through and understand basic safety for indoor rock climbing.

Intro to Paddle Boarding Clinic

Try out the basics of paddle boarding at Lake Ruby! Learn how to assume the proper stance, use good paddle strokes, take falls and self-rescue in a comfortable paddling environment.
